In today’s world self-defense training of any kind is a very good idea and everyone needs some kind of exercise. So, if you are going to do some kind of physical fitness why not learn something useful that will stay with you for the rest of your life.

Everyone in the above picture attended this Martial Arts Event. There were students, cooks, admission personnel, supply personnel, board holders, Judges, Referees and Competitors at Taylor’s Tae Kwon Do Invitational. The schools that attended were. Taylor’s Tae Kwon Do Madison and Osgood Location. Also, Ko’s Martial Arts Academies from Seymour, Columbus and Greenwood, Indiana. There was a total of 55 competitors in this competition event.

Listed are the students from Taylor’s Tae Kwon Do Osgood and Madison Locations. These students (competitors) won 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place Medals in Sparring, Forms, Weapons and Breaking Competition.

SUMMARY:

At most local martial arts tournaments points are given during the
sparring competition on a contact basis. If blood is drawn then the
attacker is disqualified. There is a center referee, four corner judges and a time keeper. The competitors are marked red and blue and the rounds go for two minutes or the first person to score 5 points. Olympic sparring is 1 minute non stop then 30 second rest then another 1 minute with electronic scoring. The forms competition is all done the same way with a panel of three to four judges and a score keeper. There were almost 100 competitors that attended this martial arts event. 1ST, 2ND, and 3RD, place trophies were awarded at this event!

Henry Peters was the only student to attend and compete in this tournament from
Taylor’s Tae Kwon Do Academy. A big round of applause goes to Henry Peters for
representing Taylor’s Tae Kwon Do Academy all by himself. We do have other

SUMMARY:

Tae Kwon Do is a Korean martial art that has been in the Olympics since 2000.
Have you ever thought that you would like to learn a martial art? It will help get you in shape and keep you there. Plus as an added bonus of working out and practicing you actually get to learn something that will stay with you for the rest of your life. Imagine how you would feel knowing you can defend yourself.
